Recreational Sports Program and Facility Manager

Bismarck Gymnastics Academy is seeking candidates who have a passion for recreational athletic programming. The ideal candidate would demonstrate an ability to process information to reach a logical conclusion, conduct professional business communication verbally and in written form, apply ethical decision-making using values and professional standards, apply marketing concepts to the sports industry, analyze legal and risk management issues in the sports industry, and contribute to the development of a staff team and collaborative environment. 

 

This candidate will have experience in program and scheduling management practices, accounting, governance and procedure development. This knowledge is likely acquired through the completion of a program of study similar to Sports or Recreation Management. Gymnastics experience helpful but not required. 

Primary duties will be; scheduling and staffing the recreational gymnastics program to include classes, birthday parties and open gyms; working with the USAG program coordinator to ensure efficient use of space and time; setting up and administering online session registration; oversight of business and fiscal processes and staff; and management of budgeting and expenditures of the academy.

 Part-Time Administrative Program Assistant

Bismarck Gymnastics Academy is seeking candidates who are looking for a part time office position to support our programming. The ideal candidate would demonstrate awesome organizational skills, have the ability to work in a fast paced environment , handle multiple priorities and learn new procedures, manage a moderate amount of incoming calls, emails and Facebook messages in a professional manner, have the ability to deal with complaints and give accurate information as well as be able to identify and assess customer needs. Have experience with modern computer systems such as Microsoft Office, display the willingness to learn and master the registration platform, keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents physically and digitally, prepare and make regular cash deposits, and desire to be helpful where needed in many aspects of the academy.

 

Gymnastics experience is preferred, but not required. Reliability is a must! The work week would consist of a minimum of 20 hours of afternoon, evening and weekend shifts. This is a permanent part time position.
